Jimin Yun was born in Seoul, Korea and began her piano studies at the age of five. She graduated Ewha Women’s University in Korea with a Bachelors in Music, attained a Master’s Degree and Professional Studies Certificate at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City. She has studied with distinguished artists such as world class pianist Jacob Lateiner, Dr. Solomon Mikowsky, and Dr. Donn Alexandre Feder in Chamber Music.
Pianist John (Yoahn) Kwon, a native of South Korea, has won critical acclaim for his deep musicianship, sensitivity and rare insight. He has made a strong impression at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Town Hall, Steinway Hall, Kosciusko Foundation, and the United Nations in New York. He has appeared throughout the United States, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands as a recitalist, chamber musician, and concerto soloist. Recently, Mr. Kwon presented two different and unique programs honoring Vladimir Horowitz, performing on Maestro Horowitz’s own touring Steinway Grand Piano.
