Ingredients
- 1 can condensed milk
- 5 eggs
- 1 can evaporated milk
- ½ tbs vanilla
- 1 can regular milk
- Chocolate cake mix
- Caramel
Instructions
- Beat the five eggs together (not too much).
- Add a can of condensed milk, a can of evaporated milk, and use the can of the evaporated milk to measure and add that same amount of regular milk.
- Add the vanilla and mix it all together (this is the flan).
- Separately, make the batter of a chocolate cake according to the instructions on the box. Then, inside a fluted tube cake pan coated in caramel, pour out the chocolate cake mixture. Then, carefully add the flan mixture on top evenly.
- Place that into the oven at 350 degrees with no cover for about an hour. It will be ready when you insert a toothpick all the way through and it comes out clean of cake and flan. Take it out of the oven when it’s ready, let it cool for a while, and flip it over out of the pan when it’s done.
