The Selfhelp Home is proud to announce the start of a Heart Health Rehabilitation Program in our Health & Rehabilitation Center. While a heart attack is never a good thing, the right care and a strong rehabilitation program can help you make the changes in your life that may be long overdue. According to the CDC, Heart disease is the most frequent condition in older adults and the No. 1 cause of death.
By participating in a program following an event you lower the risk of death and health complications after a cardiac event or procedure and boost your chance of returning to an active lifestyle. It also reduces the chances of returning to the hospital.
