Through this pandemic we have felt the true sense of community that The Selfhelp Home has always provided. The outpouring of generosity is helping to hold us all together. Your donations, generosity and even a “like” or comment on Facebook is giving us hope every step of the way. We lean on you, our dedicated community, for your support in this critical time to help us through this.
We want to mention an extra special “Thank You” to our partner community organizations that pulled together over 100 personalized letters to our residents! Artwork and special messages to residents have been uplifting and a big show of kindness from our community. Those organizations include, TOV Volunteers, Anshe Sholom B’nai Israel Congregation, Mishkan Chicago, Anshe Emet Synagogue and Temple Sholom of Chicago. These heartfelt, beautiful letters bring our residents so much joy.
