Your Help is Needed!
We are so grateful for our amazing community who has stood by us during the challenges we’ve faced since the start of the pandemic, almost two years ago.
We are proud of our amazing staff who have continued to make the overall welfare of residents their top priority. It is this love for the work we do that ensures we will be here for the last generation of Holocaust Survivors and the many others who do and will call Selfhelp home.
And this level of care has real and true costs associated with it. On average, the difference between the cost of care – including medical, dietary, housekeeping, programming and Jewish life enrichment – and what is covered by payments made by residents, their families and programs such as Medicare is $18,000 per resident per year to be covered by fundraising and other revenue building initiatives. And that’s why we need your help.
You can help us maintain resident care at the highest levels by making your contribution to Selfhelp today.
