Holiday Recipes from Our Home: Sally’s Brisket

Sally loves preparing food for people and this dish was so loved by others that she would make it every single year for the High Holidays. She recalls how the blend of Coca Cola created an interesting combination of sweet and sour.

Ingredients
  • 12 oz Heinz Chili Sauce
  • 12 oz Coca Cola
  • Onion
  • Brisket
  • Cumin
  • Ginger
  • Allspice
Instructions
  1. Pour Heinz chili sauce and Coca Cola equally over the brisket.
  2. Sear the brisket with garlic cloves and a sliced onion on top.
  3. Sprinkle cumin, ginger, and allspice on top.
  4. Bake in oven at 300-325 degrees for 3 hours.
